Default In DEFENSE of the Monkey

The Monkey cares!
He helps Millions with jobs and Billions to the economy!

Someone said in an earlier thread that the President had better things to do than worry about Fishing and hunting.
Tell me you feel the same after reading this report.

http://library.fws.gov/Pubs/nat_surv...m-findings.pdf

See how the Monkey 'likes' your state.

http://library.fws.gov/Pubs/natsurve...elim-state.pdf
Check the 'participation' numbers in the Southern States....HATS off friends!!!!

And those of you supporting TWO Monkeys.....HATS OFF!
Thank you and ALL outdoor recreaters

And Bassin Gal you get extra credit for Hummingbirds.
Bird watching helps the economy and seeing most is done around the home...IT HELPS THE LOCAL ECONOMY!
That goes to ALL you bird watchers, I know many here are. Thanks!

If Obama really cared about hunters and anglers (in particular) he would have found some way to provide us with some Government Assistance, by now. He's had 4 dang years, where's OUR handout?

Why did I know putting that stupid Pres. comment in would take this the WRONG direction?

Ok, I don't know about the rest of you but I have already voted.
Neither opponent is going to help your monkey and that's just the sad FACTS.

Instead I was hoping for some pride shown that WE are ANGLERS and a HUGE part of the ECONOMY!
Do you realize sportsman spent more than Microsoft or Apple took in their coffers.
Do you realize Wisconsin alone has the WORLDS 5th LARGEST armed forces in the WORLD due to HUNTERS!
We Americans TOGETHER must keep our children's and our dreams more than just dreams.

Be PROUD of your PASSION because AMERICA depends on US!

The point is to be PROUD that you are an AMERICAN ANGLER and outdoor enthusiast. Be PROUD that your an AMERICAN hunter! Be PROUD that your passions do a lot of GOOD for you, nature and the ECONOMY!

I'm PROUD of YOU my friends and ALL members of this forum.
I know many spend MORE than the average $1400 per angler and many are HUNTERS and your monkey makes OURS look more like a marmoset.

So be proud and have the very best day you possible can!

Joe considering the latitude at which you reside and amount of snow fall and cabin fever your monkey will get plenty of chances to stock up er catch up.

Joe, there IS no defense for the bait monkey! Once it gets in your head it is all over

I know what you mean with the thread, though. Us hunters and fishermen pump a LOT of money into the economy, and God bless them for it.

Vote your values on the 6th, boys. It matters.

Thanks for the shoutout Joe. We bird people certainly help the economy buying the seed (that the dratted squirrels eat!) and the sugar to make the syrup for the hummers!

Our state (KY) has an issue on the ballot making hunting and fishing a constitutional right. Certainly hoping there are enough people with good common sense that will vote that one into existence!

Bassin Gal there should be no question as to those rights. That's what Pi$$e$ me off about what we have to endure in this country. Too many friggen tree hugger liberals telling us what we can and can't do. Sorry I get worked up sometimes.

Default Just a thought...

You know, they say money doesn't buy happiness.
But with the Monkey's help, it certainly does bring you a more PLEASANT form of misery!

I agree 110%. I could fill up this forum on my political thoughts but will refrain. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that this amendment passes!

What good are those "rights" when money grubbing conservatives have given all our land away to corporate interests for their profit and cut all regulations that leaves our water polluted wastelands?

What we actually have is an "effort" disparity.

It causes me great pain to know that under President Romney, even liberals will prosper economically. I'd just as soon see you all move to your utopian ideal, Cuba. Seriously, why don't you, if Socialism is the cure for all evils? Because you'd rather sit and enjoy the largesse produced by Capitalism, yet still use the freedom granted you by the Constitution to bltch about it.

Hmmm...maybe you've already got your utopia right here...lots of rights...no responsibilities. Whoa, I just answered my own question...now I understand why you're so butthurt over the prospect of Obomao getting evicted.

And by the way, it's "gilded".

Sorry, guys...I had to get in at least one more political rant before the revolution.

"Democracy can be messy and complicated, but these arguments we have are a mark of our liberty...America has never been about what can be done for us, but what can be done by us." --President Barack H. Obama 11/7/2012...a speech I hope you listened to.
