IMO.....
I've been having problems with 10lb Vanish lately, breaking off too many fish, and have to find another flurocarbon line.
I like Sensation but was happy with the old Ultrathin. Both do really well on spinning gear. I found Ultrathin to be very strong line. Don't know why they stopped making it.
I bought Ironsilk the week it came out and threw it away. Same as the old Fenwick Ironsilk line???
Power Pro and Fireline work well for braided line. No complaints with either, I just buy whichever is on sale or cheapest per yard. I'm currently using Power Pro. Got a good deal on it this winter.
Izorline that I got did not work well on a spinning reel for some reason. Put it on a baitcaster and had no problems.
P-line is fine, no problems with it.
Stren Magnaflex worked well for me but only got one spool.

Alot of opinionated statements in this area.
How about "in my opinion" or "In my experience"
"I personally have found out that this line"
But not "this line is the worst stuff on the market"
Others may find that this particular line the greatest stuff ever invented. Thats of course in there opinion !

PowerPro seems to have set the standard for braid. There might be a better braid out there, but I don't know of it.

As far as mono goes I like Trilene Big Game. I've heard Ande is also very good, and the same for Cajun although the red color is a bit different. For flourocarbon I like the P-line flouroclear.

EXACTLY. Opinions vary, especially depending on fishing techniques.

I have tried many lines and have a bunch of spools i havent used I got on clearance, I have tried an expensive braid (Spiderwire Stealth) and was completely unsatisfied. For now I will stick with my Stren for bassin', and my Berkeley for Catfishing and Salt-water pier fishing. I may give Powerpro, and Calcuttta braid a shot but for now im satisfied with Stren, and Big game.

I will never waste another cent on Spiderwire products in my lifetime. I bought one of their "best" lines and IMO it sucked. I sure hope it wasn't their best.
