Default Big Bass Contest T-shirt

Last year I made a couple of Tee shirts for me and a buddy when we entered our first bass tournament. I just used some iron-on paper from Walmart - you print to it right from your home printer and then iron it onto your shirt. I've been playing with the idea of making a tee shirt for the big-bass contest. If anyone wants the image, I can email you a larger version (and it's mirrored backwards so the text comes out forward) - just pick-up a plain tee shirt and some iron-on printer-paper (about $8 for 4 sheets?) and you can make your own.

(I can make the image any size you want that will fit on a 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper - or if you want it really big, I could break it into 2 pieces so it would fit on 2 sheets of paper)

I'll take one and wear it to pose. I'm assuming I can tweak the colors? My email is in my profile I think? If not I'll pm it to you.

There are 2 types of iron-on paper at Walmart. One is transparent for light colored shirts; the other is opaque for dark colored shirts. Without getting into a lengthy discussion, I reccomend the transparent paper for light colored shirts. This means that anything white in the image will print transparent and you see the color of the T-shirt through the image.

I added a splatter effect on the background to mask some common problems. Depending on the material, when you iron the decal onto the shirt part of the decal may not stick. Also depending on the material, small parts of the decal can come off in the wash. With the splatter effect, both of these problems are less noticable and just look like part of the weathered effect.

Yes, I can tweak the colors. Since there are several components to this image, tweaking the colors is probably not somthing you want to try yourself unless you are really good with graphics. If you have a specific color scheme in mind, let me know and I will see what I can do, though I refuse to do bubblegum pink or fire-tiger.

I tweaked the colors in the image below and then made examples of what you could expect it to look like on 3 different colors: white, light gray and orange.

I came across this picture where I'm wearing the tee-shirt I made last yaer. Maybe you can't see it very well, but its a similar design and says: 2 man Open - Grant County Bass Club - 2012

It's a cheap light-gray mesh-like T shirt from walmart. Very nice for those hot summer days!

Default Here are the final images

These are the final images. Just right-click and "saveas" to save to your computer. The large mirrorered image is the one you want to print on the iron-on paper.

MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PAPER FOR LIGHT COLORED TEE SHIRTS.
(You use a non-mirrored image with the paper for dark colored tee shirts.)

There are a number of different ways to print images, but to maximize the size on a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 paper. I find the easiest way is to import the image into WORD. That way you can see the image related to the size of the paper, adjust the image size and margins, and print preview. If you need help, send me a private message and I will walk you through it.

Also, if you wanted a custom color, let me know.

This is the final image:

This is the one you wnat to save and print:

No, you can buy the iron on paper for your printer and do it all at home.
