you take the lead head with the hook and thread the tube on it, then poke through the eyelet to tie onto....weedless is only accomplished on tube/jigheads that have a weedguard or wire weedguard

I've started using bobber stops for crappie fishing to peg my weights. They work pretty well and no harm to your line.

i peg my weights with rubber bands for home..lose alot of feeling with weight sliding up line..
