Default Spinnerjig

On 4/06 and 4/07, I went bass fishing on my mom's private lake and also hit the stream for trout. Anyway, the conditions were brutal and we weren't catching much so I tried something new that was sitting in my box . . . . THE SPINNERJIG. My friend and I attached a salty shad flukes onto the end of the lure and caught some nice LM and pickeril. I am thinking that perhaps this lure is a good cold water presentation. Anyone else fish this lure? Does the spinnerjig also fish well in warm conditions?

Haven't used them but have seen them. Aaron Martins used one to finish 2nd in the Ohio river Classic. If they work-no reason they shouldn't-you have another weapon in the arsenal.

I am still "undecided" about this lure. In two days, we caught six fish with this lure, however, we only caught a total of eight. I am going to revisit this lure the next time I get out fishing.

I basically worked the lure like I was slow rolling a spinnerbait. I let it get down to the bottom and then worked it real slow. If you happen to give it a try, let me know if you have any luck.

I've used them, but I was only catching dinks and white and yellow perch.

Hef, perhaps you were using the older spinnerjig set-up (a Road runner jig head with a small hook)? I came across something new this winter . . . The Sworming Hornet, which seems to be more for bassin' than catching panfish. I want to post a picture of it from the BPS site but I still haven't figured out how to do this.
