Default Daiwa TD-Pro Baitcaster

These are the BPS exclusive reels. Has anyone tried one yet? I have always been a Quantum man, but with the intro of the Zillion I'm starting to like the Daiwas.

I used to preach Daiwa reels for years when they weren't so popular. Now I don't get that same warm fuzzy feeling anymore.I still love my old discontinued Daiwa Millionaires, but I am collecting alot of the Shimano brand lately.**** the new Daiwas, they are just a mirrors reflection as to what they once were. As a matter of fact, I just experimented and bought a new Daiwa (Fuego) for my new Flippin' Stick...

I'm going to disagree with the Tierra comment. I picked that up the same day as the TD-Pro and that Tierra felt like a piece of junk. The Tierra spinning reel was nice, but I would have to pass on the baitcaster. It just felt rough and seemed like one of those 19.95 Wal-mart reels.

I've got three AC500PT's, two energy 860PTxm's, one energy 1170 and one energy PT spinning reel....I do love em, but always looking for the bigger better deal. hehe. Nah, really I like the Daiwa's because of their extreme low profile design. I've got smaller hands and the smaller Daiwas fit my hand really well.

I use Diawa's that's what i'll stick with. But i admit i don't fancy them like the old lew's reels. Far as i'm concerned nobody today makes a reel that's equal in performance & value like my old speed spools were. I have still have some. But they have many years of use on them. I tried many reels over the years since. The best reel i could find for replacements were Diawa.

I'm a big fan of Daiwa's. Abu's are also a good reel.
