Who's your pick for the Classic
Well, it's about that time. The Red River and Shreveport should be bumping in about 9 days and BPS will have stellar sales for the weekend. Who are you picking for the Classic? I'm gonna go with a few picks:
1) KVD - who wouldn't pick him? 2) Iaconelli - If he can keep from being disqualified for an antic. 3) Clunn- Year after year, probably the only pro still winning checks and drawing Social Security 4) Jones - Maybe looking for a repeat. 5) Hackney - Just for the LA hometown favorite. And then there is the little lady, Bain-Moore in the mix this year.

um i think we has a post like this a while ago but:
1: Greg Hackney- great power fishermen 2: Mike Iaconelli - Powwwer all the way 3: Byron Velvick- i got to cheer for this guy... my friend got to go down to Shreveport 2 months ago and fish with him and meet Iaconelli and a couple other guys(he also fished with Boyd Duckett) I would cheer for Jason Williamson (an Elite pro) who lives down the road from me, but he cant make the classic.... he had a good chance, but he screwed up on his home lakes (murray and Clarks Hill) .... if he would of done good on these lakes he would of made it............... he almost won Amistad too

I just joined so cut me some slack this time, it won't happen again. Let's just consider it a bump for the thread.

I'll say it again. Kenyon Hill, and Charlie Hartley are my top two; great guys.

Mine is a sleeper pick. I'll go with Ish Monroe. The swimbait bite will make the biggest diffrence if conditions allow. Ish knows this type better than most.
