got that info it is a 4600c reel gearing 6:3-1 high speed. this is the pre c-4 reel use it they were made in the mid 80's.

yes but as i told you those beast throw massive backlashes i would fill the spool up and let out 60-70 feet of line then place a chunk of tape acrossed the remaining line in the spool.after the tape is in place reel the line up. this way the backlash will not go deeper than the tape..
aint you figured out yet grasshopper i have my ways of pilfering info about all kinds of crap.. zooker
