Thanks for the link PnJ.

Like the 9" swimmin' waterdog. Looks like its deadly bait to throw on deep ledge.

Carl Lowrance (as in Lowrance Electronics)and I tried marketing tiger salamanders back in the middle 80's and did not have any success with it. I am from Miss. and we had a guy from Fla. and another from Ala. all Bass people and all business people. People simply would not fish with them.
Good luck

I am strictly a plastics fisherman for bass (well hard baits too of course), but my uncle and I caught some huge cats in arizona on them, and they do move around on your line, and you have to keep them moving so they don't get in the rocks, but thats a good thing cuz when you feel them take off you know the rod is about to be slammed from your hands. It was pretty cool when you are used to fishing cut bait.

Maybe Michial Vick should have held fights with these things. I think crossbread with a Pitbull you would have one mean SOB

for anyone not familiar with a waterdog, they are considered by many to be the best bass bait on the planet. Waterdogs are immature tiger salamanders, living underwater and breathing through gills. They are generally 5 to 7 inches in length and have been known to catch big bass.

we could ship them in lots of 2 to 4 dozen, with a price around 2.50-3.50 per waterdog, 2nd day air shipping included. Please reply if this is something that interests you. I could use some input in making a decision whether or not to take the time and energy required to make this a viable business.

ROFL....blast from the past.

All we need is for them to specify "paper bag brown" water dogs.

Based on my records, I think Mallen had 1 April on the 2011 "When does this thread resurface pool" Congrats to Mallen.

We will begin taking dates for the 2012 pool in August.
