Default Wouldn't you know it

It is snowing like crazy right now-an hour SOUTH of San Antonio! Right over my favorite lake. Bet that will drop the water temp.

Well, you have an open invite to come down and fish when you get back on your feet. Merry Christmas, amigo!

Fished a tournament once in Louisianna and it was 38 degrees with snow. 1st of Apr and the fish were definetely on.
A 7 1/2 lber was weighed in several limits were weighed in as well. Take this notice and heed to it.
Had a tournament when the air wasn't supposed to get above 26. Some guys were able to find the fish by "bumping the stumps" with spinnerbaits.
Alot of good fish weighed in that day.
The air temp. and the water temp. may be way different than you'd expect.

I've fished a few times in the snow too. Â*Once at a tournament the first part of April on Buggs Island, my buddy and I got on a school of fish on a point and put 5 in the boat right off the bat, including a 5 lber. Â*Then he lost one, and they shut off. Â*Then it started snowing. Â*HARD. Â*We didn't get another bite all day. Â*I have never been so cold, wet, and miserable in my life. Â*There was 3 or 4 inches on the ground when it was over. Â*Luckly it didn't really stick on the roads.

For others they said they turned on where they were when the snow started. Â*The two guys who won it had 28 lbs. and some change.

Another buddy of mine left here heading for Roland Martins place on "The Big O" in Florida to fish a B.A.S.S. tournament on Sunday, Feb. 14th. Â*(We live in Richmond, Virginia.) Â*It started to snow as he left Richmond, and got worse the further south he went. Â*He said towing the boat trailer was a nightmare. Â*He figured he'd stop for the night when he got to Florida. Â*Well he didn't figure on the storm forcing all the people who had gone to Daytona for the 500 being forced to stay over after the race because of the storm. Â*He had to go as far as Miami before he could find a place to stay. Â*He said he figured he might as well push on at that point. Â*Richmond to the Big O nonstop. Â*He was a tired puppy when he got there.

Got the snow gear covered-been skiing up in New Mexico a time or two. Snow blower? Snow mobile? Guess that's what y'all up North call a leaf blower and a jet ski ;D.
