When you crank it down it suspends. It will crank down to 6-7 feet depending on the line you are using-the bigger the diameter of the line the shallower it will run.

ironman if your lure is sitting an inch above the surface, you have one hell of a bait...i've never seen one that hovered in mid-air before!

X-raps don't float-they suspend. Crank it down and it stays down.

when you cast it out and it floats...then you know if it's floating. X-Raps suspend though so when you give it a hard jerk or crank it, it will dive down and stay suspended right there.

i am really new well not to new i have been bass fishing for a bout a year and until about a month ago i really started to want to learn about the fishing istead of just throwning somthing out and not even know what it is or what your doing
