I find the best all-round lure for bass to be the flying lure. Its been sold to over 25 trillion fishermen worldwide.

Yeah, that chrome plated whiz bang is a great bait ;D

I really don't have one overall. I do have preferred baits for certain conditions.

Tikis and t-rigged worms seem to get me fish almost every time out, but it depends on the condtions. T rigged tubes also.

I gotta go with the Kicktail lure. You tie 3 of these babies onto your line at once and you'll be catching 8.6 bass per hour. Though I gotta warn you, it's always disturbing pulling in that .6th of a bass. I don't know what happened to the other .4th of them or why you only seem to catch them on the buddy rigged Kicktails... but it does catch them.

You can fish a slug-go in just about any condition short of rapids. It is certainly my go-to.

Everyone else, Lures are like tools, the right on for the right job, but I guess, my go to bait, would be a Parrot Colored Crankbait or a Junebug Worm.
