I texted John this morning, he said Mrs. Eloise is doing better. He said she's all stove up and sore, but she's ok now. Good news....

Wow. I hope she makes a quick recovery. A fall like that is pretty scary for an elderly person.

thnaks daniel. and yes bryce, oyu are correct, she is 70 somehting (ain't nice to post a ladies age ya know, lol). the story is she was hanging up a fly strip in the barn (concrete floor), when either she missstepped or the ladder slipped....no one knows how she fell, but she fell and landed crumpled on the floor with her head against a wall. good thing it was a wooden wall instead of the floor. her memory is coming back as i type this. she is still bruised up inside and VERY sore. but she is ok, laughing at herself and all. that is how we know she is ok.
thank oyu all for the prayers and kind thoughts. lisa went beserk of course, but even she has settled down now. again, thank you all for pulling us through once again gang.

Dang man, you and yours are riding a rough road the last year or so. I sincerly hope eveything is fine with your MIL, as well as the other members of your family that have been experiencing hardships during the last year. Prayers sent in the hope everyone in your family finds the road smooth and straight in times ahead. And that you catch at least ONE bass this year that exceeds DINK status. Take care pal!

little update on maw-in-law folks.
she is still having a hard time with her memory and feels like her entire body has been run over by a semi she says. she is scheduled for an MRI tuesday onher brain. she'll look a toyu and not know who oyu are for a minute or two, then realize who oyu are. we all think she has a very bad concussion and that in time she will get better. she is 72 yrs old so it is going to take some time for her body to heal. she sleeps a lot still. doctor thinks it'll be a couple more weeks till she is truly ok. thank oyu all for the thoughts and prayers. and we all hope ya'll had a WONDERUFL EASTER.

Yes, thanks for the update. It does sound like the memory thing is temporary and that as her brain heals, she should be ok. The good thing is she does remember, even if it's a bit slow. Prayers will continue.
