Practice Wraps (Pic Heavy)
I have been messing around while I have been at work and doing some practice wraps on a scrap piece. Here is what I have accomplished in a month.
Greed faded diamonds Hell's snowflake Fat 8 pointed star (Started out as a spider wrap, but the math was wrong) This one is for you Bama, a Crimson star in a sea of purple and gold. And yes, I know the colors are fugly, but I just couldn't cut it without finishing it.

That's some awesome chit Bubba, I have no idea how you guys get thread wrapped into those terrific patterns. Really art, that's what it is. They are all nice and picking ONE as my favorite of the group was difficult, VERY difficult, but I think this one is mine.

Thanks fellas. I wouldn't put these on a personal unless it was a beast of a blank and weight wasn't really going to matter. There is a lot of thread om these wraps. But it is just something I have wanted to learn for a while and have the time over here.
Pancake, it was a snowflake, but I had my spacing way off. I guess I can consider it my first closed wrap. I wish I had a little more orange and yellow. I am working on a flamish fade in a chevron pattern now.

Couple of more shades and maybe I will have this one dialed in for a fire pattern.
