Fellas cameras sometimes show it better than it is,that is the only pond ive found so far and its the size of an above ground pool(slightly larger but not a lot)
Tune in late feb or first of march ill post pics of the first lilly pads,in Ky lake
The Paris landing state park pads are the first to come up in a cove the beavers have shut off, those south around newjohnsonville are more plentifull but april coming up.
These are in my pond next to my house and came from ky lake or its drainages, the lilly pads from the lake along with pondweed and the yellow floating heart and pennywart along with coontail from the drainage ditches, blood river and big sandy and yes still alive not pristine but alive still.Been a warm winter so far.

62 degrees is what it topped out at here today... crazy weather... saw daffodiles yesterday, but I know better than to think winter is over. Feb is usually our snow month..

Oh and RIP 68/80 bridge

It has been warmer than usual here in the FL panhandle as well. This year it has been a few short cold spells..... instead of long cold spells with a few days of warm weather... The fish are confused but still did decent bluegill fishing while camping and shore fishing this past weekend, days were mid 60s and nights in low 40s.

Wow the first round of azaleas at my mother in laws are already in full bloom. They usually don't start until late march to late April.
