Size ---> big ! ; 4.8 " & 5.8 "
Color ---> Silver or Gold Shad Minnow ( havenīt tried other colors, they must be equally good ) How ---> weightless T-rigged with EWG hook ( they donīt need any weight and they fly like a rocket ) I cast and let it sink to a desired depth ( when I find the depth at which the fish are holding ) and reel in steadily most of the times. Tips: The bait must be rigged perfectly straight. Your hook should be a heavy wire ( superline hook ) it helps stabilize the bait. Video |

I've seen the video, thanks. Just wished they would show the bait getting crushed by a couple bass!!!!
How well do they hold up with use? Can you catch multiple fish on them before having to glue them back together or toss them? |

My living expense this year!
I bought quite a bit of odds and ends and got quite alot for the money.
I bought 3 combos that work great without the big bucks. I added to my 13 rod and reel combos 1 Prodigy baitcasting reel 1 Pro qualifier baitcasting reel 1 abu Garcia 5600c4 for Pike 1 7' MH Ugly Stick casting rod for river pike 1 Cabela's 7' MH Fish Eagle 11 casting rod- Excellent rod by the way. 1 6'6 Lightning Shock casting rod Med. 1 Garmin 160 color sonar Horny toads, Money craws, Senko kit from Cabelas, Quite a Gam. EWG hooks 6/0 5/0 4/0 3/0. Assorted colors, A doz new spinnerbaits from Strike King, Terminator. 6 new jigging and casting spoons, Also a few new crankbaits from strike King, Rapala, Storm. The best product that I caught the most fish with this year so far has been Gulp Minnows!! I have been nailing Smallies on the Smelt and Rainbow color 3" ones. They have worked fantastic. NOTE After the above purchases, My wife woke up!! I'm done until hunting season. Next year if I can lul her to sleep, it will be a better bass boat! Dave |

Yes you can catch several fish with one bait, there are things that help you maintain the integrity of the bait for extended periods of time, like Texposing the hook point and instead of using a regular EWG you use a J hook, apparently the hooks are the same, both are EWG but the shape of the bends are not, in a regular EWG itīs straight in the J hook itīs bent more like in a Z shape, regular EWG hooks tend to slice the bait while the J hook doesnīt and of course the ever trusty bottle of Mend-it allows you to squeeze more fish out of every bait. So far Iīve been using only two baits ( one in one color and the other in the other color I mentioned ), have repaired them several times so I suppose that I wonīt have to purchase more in the near future.

Gulp Minnows
I've been fishing the Menominee river. I rig the gulps with various round jig heads. Toss them out and work them in a SLOW swim . I stop, let them fall to the bottom. Lift the rod tip up and down a few times. I then repeat. The trick is to work them slow.when you bring the rod up and down they kind of flutter back down. The Smallies usually hit on the drop. You really have to watch your line as well as feeling for the tap, tap. I'm probably explaining that like a moron, but I think you get the idea. I do change the pace of retrive now and then. I have been using a few different weight heads. Most of the time a 1/8 oz. Green or white color head. I don't think the color of the head really matters. I will use a little heavier in faster current. Hook them thru the nose and out the back. Hope that helps. I love those minnows. I get just as good results as if I'd been using live bait.
