ive always enjoyed fishing but i never got "serious" until spring this year. i had surgery on my foot in feb from a dirt bike wreck and i was off work for 3 months. during these 3 months i fished all the time! i spent a lot of money and filled my tackle box to the brim. its stupid but its also caused a lot of tension in my relationship, im always talking about fishing or going fishing and the girlfriend has gotten sick of going to the fishing section every time we go to wal mart but its something that isnt gonna change so shes gna have to deal with it because im addicted!

Hey OJ don't sweat it, just point out to your girlfriend that she should be thankful that you're not out in the garage cooking up another batch of crystal meth. I managed to avoid relationship issues in my current (2nd) marriage by making sure she enjoyed fishing(an explanation of how I accomplished that will be forthcoming in another post).
