Default Lure you can't live without during the seasons

The Senko vs Dinger thread got me thinking. Let's here everyone's can't live without bait for each season.

From- East TN and Fish mostly Loudon, Tellico, Watts, Bar, and Chilhowee Lakes

Spring- Heddon Spook Clear Chart Insert/ Bone Silver Insert- "Saltwater versions"
Summer- Day- Strike King 6XD- Citrus
Night-Homeade Colorado SB Red and Black Texas Red Uncle Josh Pork
Fall- Buzzbait "Booyah Pip Zqeek, the worst thing Booyah ever did was discontinue this bait. I ordered the last 100 of the Luna and the Glowbee colors off there last pallet they had at Pradco"
Winter- 1/4 oz Rattle Trap" I'm partial to the Red Eye Shad #500 Clear Ghost Sexy Shad"

I rarely use plastics way to A.D.D. to fish slow lol how about you guys?

String Strike King sexy shad
Summer Horny Toad
Fall both of the above
Since it get's to cold up here I don't fish much in the winter. If it stays warm till November and warms up around February some, I still like the Strike King sexy shad.
I think you are pretty well set on the Pip Sqeeks'.

Regarless of the season. Most days start with a T-rigged worm or lizard and a Pop R. As the day progresses I will tie on a square-billed crankbait.

I changed my answer like six times, I actually gotta think about this one. Used to be easy, 10" purple power worm. Can we have more than one? I need top 3 then top 5 then top 10. Then I think I can make it work.

i am goin to go with a jig, jig, jig, and a jig. there are many things that can be stuck on the back of a jig head. in all actuality, a spinner bait is a jig with an attachment, same can be said for a buzzbait. jigs are used on a-rigs. i would hate to fish any season and not be able to utilize a jig in some way.

great answers guys and vega heck yeah list a top 10 lol. Have fun with it. I am collecting data on what people use and where for my own knowledge and to have for the store's knowledge. Just seeing if anyone has something that is killer and I don't know about. These type of threads help me with info from people who use the baits.

Three arm Tennessee rig-regardless of whats on it generally swimbaits but not always-any time school is in session.
That is when not having a frog of some kind in hand.use frog 7-8 months a year the a rig 3-5 so at times may have a frog and an a rig tied on but if going under its on an a rig.

Default Top 5

Can't do without a YumDinger, either green pumpkin or brown pumpkin/chartreuse tail. Any body of water, any time of year.

#2: tandem willow-blade spinnerbait, chartreuse/white skirt

#3: rattletrap

#4: propbait

#5: Scumfrog

This is a list of must haves as I can't narrow it down to one per season.
Ice out/early spring-Jig, hard bodied jerkbaits, both suspending and floating' and a chatterbait.
Spring/early summer-Spinnerbait, weighted t-rigged 3 1/2" Craw Papi or beaver style bait for pitchin into cover, shallow diving squarebill crank.
Summer early fall-Spinnerbait, shallow and medium diving crankbaits, weighted t rigged crawpapi or beaver, buzzbait and spook. Also a 3" Xcaliber popper if the shad bite is on.
Fall to iceup-Spinnerbaits, shallow and medium diving crankbaits, buzzbaits and spooks untill late fall, and a big jig.
There are other baits I'm throwing a lot durring these times as well, such as Jitterbugs, lipless cranks, frogs, ect. But these are probably my mainstays. I just know I'm forgetting something!

I would be lost without my BA and Zoom Flukes or my shallow crankbaits. In the winter, I just stick to plastics and jigs.

Note to self: Keep this thread saved for the next Secret Santa..................

Anytime I'm fishing, I have a Senko rigged and ready to go.
Spring & fall I always have a lipless crankbait and a chatterbait tied on.
Summer, a spinnerbait.

Those are the "always" baits, everything else varies on lake or seasonal conditions. Early and late in the season I will use more reaction bite baits. Summer, more plalstics. Winter - I clean rods, reels, sort/replentish tackle, plan a winter fishing trip and generally wait for spring.
