Never fish in Flordia so...see if this would help?

KVD won the Citrus Slam in Florida last year at this time of year and Brain Snowden won at PAA over last week or 2 at Toho...both pros used lipless crank around grasses. Both targeted in open water between 6-8 feet.

It's been cold up in Orlando, so if you ask me, they will be going shallower close to rocks, culverts, and whatever else will warm up faster! Bass activity will often spike tremendously after it warms up from a cold spell!

Well if it has just got warmer the water temp will be rising so they might be on the rocks but if the temp of the lake has leveled out they may be around shallow grass (2-6 ft)... you never know with big fish though. if you are targeting just big ones and you only catch small ones shallow go out deep next to structure. Make sure there a drop off near by, they might use that to ambush prey in the shallows.
