When the grass is brown??

I have a tourney in the morning and find myself not too sure what to throw. All of the grasses in the water have turned brown in the past month. In the past I have done well focusing on the weedlines, but based off of pre-fishing and reports, the fish have moved on.
My partenr and I have yet to find them staged anywhere. We have pulled a few dinks through DS and swimming jigs around 40 foot, but these fish appear to be stragglers.
I know that most of you guys are probably asloop by now, but any ideas from those of you awake?

Water is gin clear and 82 on the surface.

Seems you have to go to light lures & line or go with fast moving baits for reaction strikes. The water being this warm the fish could be anywhere. I hope you are not dealing with bluebird skies or they will be really deep.

YEp, bluebird skies with a high of 101. Not my first choice in fishing days.
There is quite a bit of standing timber in the 12-15 foot range. I tried there in pre-fishing, but it was very hit and miss. Hoepfully once I am culling, I can go and pitch the shadows.
I know that they started a water draw down on Tuesday so the Craws should be on the move.

101 degrees? Fahrenheit? Shadows and current are your best bets, unless you find them deep. If they're drawing it down, get in the river channel and work the points on the inside of the bends.

Yes Fahrenheit....Celsius would be a pain.......Thanks MB. I never considered using the draw down as a current. Great advice. Almost all of my waters are reservoirs, so current is not a constant.

Hit the shady side of anything. Gin colored water is a killer for bass because even 10 pound test looks like a phone cable coming through the water. Good luck!
