The standard answer is "any time you can" ;D. Kidding aside, it depends on the time of the year and a couple of other things as far as I'm concerned. In the spring/summer early and late is when I prefer unless it is cloudy, when all day is good-especially in the heat of the day in summer/fall. Winter, however, the "heat of the day" is better. As the day progresses the water gets to warm up a little, and the warmer temps will help make the fish more active.

anytime 8) ive caught fish all times of the day. but i like the mourning the most, then the evening, then the afternoon. its just personal prefference. also i believe the fish feed more in the mourning and evening. but i think you can provoke a strike anytime.

I like best early morning and before dark. We have fished all day and it seems like that is when we get more bass.

i like to spend a day out there if i can, school kind of inntetrupts this in the spring, but in the summer, ill be out there at 6:00am or earlier all the way till about 5:30pm then come home for dinner and head back out till around 8:30pm or so. I only do this on sundays, since there is nothing to do on these days, and because sunday is a day of relaxation. All of the other days of the week, anytime i can prefferebly the early morning.
