Default Whats the Best Shakey Head Jig

What is the best shakey head jig. Looking for something that will go through grass and stand up well. A lot of them fall over and it looks no different then a texas riged worm

I like gander MT brand screw lock hooks. They're really sharp and flat out work!

I hate shaky head jigs with the screw keeper, except Owner's with the centering pin. The VMC ones with barbarian hooks are nice too.

Also, use a worm that floats (Strike king elaztech finesse worms, Powerbait shakey head worms, etc) and you should have no problem with any jighead standing up.

hands down the best shaky head is Buckeyes... i have caught hundreds of fish around them, around all sorts of cover, you have a couple weights to pick from and they have the screw on and push on heads.... i like the push on a little better

I've had a lot of success with the original Spot Remover's with the push on keeper - although the Spot Remover Pro's with the screw on keeper are also nice.

Custom big bass baits, makes every kind of s-head they make and they are cheap, they have good hooks and the powdercoats them so the paint actually stays on.

I like the ones made by Bagley but of course I havent caught anything on any other I have tried but I doubt that was due to the shakey head jig but to the user. Bagley's are also not to badly priced. Spot removers look good and I have used them just havent caught anything on them....yet.

I picked up a pack of Strike King Tour Grade Shaky Heads since I couldn't get the Elaztech worms to stay on the baits with the pin (like the Spot Removers) or the spring keepers (like the Owners). I've only fished with them a few times, but I like them so far.

Once you get them on, the barb keeps the Elaztech worms on very nicely. The sharp Gamakatsu hooks are great too. I may pick up a pack or two in other sizes and maybe in some colors instead of unpainted.

I still want to try the Gamakatsu SkipGap shaky heads.
