Default chatter help

Has anyone had any luck on chatterbaits? I have been out twice on a lake and only caught two fish on them.

I'm not paying the kind of money they want for them now, I'll wait for a while and get me a couple when they come down on the price some.

i've used them a couple times with no luck....next time i go fishing im going to try using it like a jig instead of cranking it. It also has been pretty weedless. I ran it through the worst stuff i could find and 4 out of 5 times it came out weedless.

I've used mine a couple times in the last month (mainly cuz I was in Japan for 3 weeks) but I've had the most success in the backs of pockets and around flooded timber. All i've done is roll em in and had a lot of luck with them.

i have tried them 4 times now (4 different colors) both morning and evening..open water, banks and vegitation with ZERO luck!

my best bait currently is a black jitterbug..NO MATTER what time i fish it, the strikes are hard and many..have caught 4-6 each time i have used it and lost 2-3 each time as well...this bait is incredible (got the idea from another forum)..hope this helps!

No luck here either, but honestly I haven't given it, its fair share of time on the water either.

Ive Caught A Few Off Of It. Ive Been Missing A Lot Of Bass On It Though Too. I Like It But It Seems That A Spinnerbait Often Does Better.

They work. Haven't caught too many, but they do catch fish. One piece of advice: Right out of the package the hooks are about as sharp as a Q-tip. They really need to be sharpened to get the fish in.

i have been catching a lot of fish on the chatterbait. the best success i have had with it was around boat slips. i will cast along the side of the dock and let it sink to where it is below the bottom of the dock and reel it slow. it has been working really well for me.
