Default How much for this boat, help please

Looking at buying first big bass boat and ran across this boat, 20 1/2 ft. 1997 Pro gator 200DWV (I think thats the right letters) anyway the boat is in pretty good shape, a few light scratches on bottom nothing big, needs new carpet and seats need fixing, from sitting in weather uncovered. Paint on top is good just needs polish. Motor is an Evinrude 225 I think its a 1997 model. Nothing wrong with motor that I know of. Trailor is a tandum axle trailor, chrome wheels, wiring looks good and tires are 70% or better. Is there anything I need to look for, and what should this boat be worth? Overall the boat and trailor would look great with new carpet and seats. Help me I do not have much experience with boats

I'm no boat expert, by any means, but before you go talking price, get the motor looked at by a professional mechanic, with a compression check and the whole nine yards. Also make sure anything wrong with the hull is just cosmetic. If there's something that needs major work, I'd pass and look elsewhere. There's plenty of boats around in good shape that can do everything that one can.
For a rough price, I went to here just for reference. That says somewhere around $4500 with what I told it, but I couldn't add any details for it to factor in. See what price it gives you with what you know about it.

Sooner, after hearing that the original owner neglected to keep the boat protected in foul weather, makes me wonder what else has been neglected. To me, keeping a boat covered when the weather is bad is not a hard thing to do, it at least shows that you're wanting to protect and properly care for your investment; by not, it kinda makes me wonder. This is just my opinion anyways.
