Default New Fantasy Fishing Thread

Good luck guys, I hope you all got your picks in.

I hope I didn't screw mine up I left Jason Christie off my roster because he was fishing an FLW tourney in Alabama on Sunday. He definitely missed out on some practice time. I'm really hoping that doesn't come back to bite me.

Joe believe it or not....I GOT MY PICKS IN!
You didn't pass out did you?

I will say though, this Tourneys picks were hard for me.
Multiple good choices everywhere.
Got easier on the last two brackets but I'm really kind of curious how it works out.

Now, do they do war Room and BassTrax for every tournament.
Do they have daily weigh-ins?

I actually learned a lot in the War Room.
Would like to learn more.

Joe, I could be wrong on this but I think BassTrakk and the War Room are just on the weekend during the regular season. They will air the daily weigh ins online and you can gets lots of info throughout the day in the "Live Blog" and "Bass Cam" sections.

Day 1 was tough! The guys that managed a limit are at the top of the standings. They're catching 20-40 fish but having trouble meeting the 14" minimum. The leaderboard could completely flip upside down tomorrow, it's going to be interesting.

Congratulations to Todd Faircloth!! He's one of my favorites, I'm happy to see him get a tough win, in his home state no less. I just wish I would have picked him

The action starts back up on Thursday at Lake Falcon. Don't forget to get your picks in this week. If you don't make them, I believe you will play the same guys you did this week.

Thought for sure Rojas was gonna pull this one off, just goes to show that it is not over until it's over.

Wow, this weeks is tuffer than the last, and I thought that was tuff.
I like to pick before I check who's in which brackets. This week 4 ended up in same pool or bracket.
Tuff call.

That was an awesome tournament! I think Falcon produced better than most people thought it would. In the end, 3 guys broke the century mark and Keith Combs beat Rick Clunn for the win, with a total of 111-5. Congratulations Keith!!

Congratulations to Jason Christie! He pulled off the biggest come from behind win in Elite Series history this week at Bull Shoals, moving from 11th to 1st on the last day. The guy is on fire. He's cashed $225,000 in checks over the last 9 days. He seems like a great guy and one hell of a fisherman.

Oh yeah....you're welcome Joedog!

I was surprised JDog didn't have his cousin Scanlon as a pick???

I am in top 5000 baby! Movin' on up like the Jeffersons.

Scanlon burned me twice last year.
I had him on the contender list but things got a little complicated for me last day of picks.
Joe (jrob) was aware and gave me a nice little nudge.
Got in like 4:30 am day of the launch.
So it is what it is.

Got a feeling this contest may go into the final outting.

Lot of good pickers this year.
I'll tell you though, this picking a team is a lot harder than anglers may think.

Joe, (and everyone else) make your picks right now. They don't have to be your final picks, you can change them up until the morning of the tournament. That way, if something unforseen happens or you forget, you will be covered and won't zero.

I got my picks in and I think I went with an all Texas lineup. Maybe I'll break the top 12000 this week.....

Palaniuk's day 2 catch has been disqualified. He inadvertently made a cull in MN waters, which is against MN law. He's gone from 1st place, 6 lbs up, to out of the top 50 and going home. Tough break!

Get your picks in guys. The Detroit River/St. Clair starts on Thursday. This is the last one.

Also, if anybody wants to play Fantasy Football, see MO CPA's thread. We need more people. It's a lot of fun!
