Default All In Baked Beans ; )-

Think I'm real close on perfecting my baked beans.
Chili was perfected months ago -

Original recipe:

3 Cans Pinto Beans (drained)
Medium Onion (diced)
3/4 BBQ Sauce
1/2 Cup Apple Juice
1/4 Cup Molasses

All In version:

2 cans Pinto Beans (drained)
2 cans Great Northern Beans (drained)
1 Cup Smoked Brisket
1/2 Cup Smoked Bacon
1/2 Cup Smoked Pulled Pork
Large Onion (diced)
1 Cup BBQ Sauce
3/4 Cup Apple juice
1/3 Cup Molasses
Diced Jalapenos (1/4 Cup sliced...before dicing)

If you don't have a smoker, you should be able to come upwith substitutes.
For those who have smokers, I packaged all the meats into 1 recipe packets and froze. When I need to whip up some beans, I just thaw one of the packets and voila!!!!

Throw all the junk in the pot...pace the floor till it's ready!!!!

That sounds delicious Mike! I can buy brisket and pulled pork already prepared to eat in sweet baby rays BBQ sauce. I wonder if that would work and then delete the 1 Cup of BBQ sauce from the recipe?

I think that would be fine, although you may need to add a lil sauce yet.
Just eye it up and decide if it needs more.
SBR Honey Chipotle is what I used

Just in case anyone is curious, pulled pork and bacon were apple/maple smoked. Brisket was Mesquite smoked

BTW....forgot one of the ingredients. 1 Bell Pepper. I went with yellow for color ; )

Boy that sounds good!! Like the apple juice thrown in there!

When ever me wake beans we soak dry beans in water for 48 hours, add the fixins and cook them UNDER the meat we're cooking, get's them nice a smoky and all the juices from the meat get in there.

May be a stupid question Keith, but where do you by this already prepared in SBR sauce? Is it frozen, refrigerated, or ready to eat? I haven't perfected the smoking craft yet and wonder what this slight alteration may do on the recipe.

It comes from the grociery store already cooked and packaged. It's in a cooler, not frozen. Can't remember exactly that brand name, bit it is a white box, about a pound size, that says seasoned with SBR sauce. If I buy a package soon, I'll let you know exactly the brand. I always find it in the meat department nearby other prepared meats dishes.
