Here's one for you texas boys...

Sometimes I don't know what I'm doing
Sometimes all my days are filled with pain
As I travel down lifes highway
Things ain't goin' my way
Cuz there's always someone swervin' in my lane...

Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, George Harrison, I think Ringo too, the guy from ELO, and Dylan? Is that right?

I'm going to some place where I've never been before
I'm going, I'm going where the water tastes like wine
Well I'm going where the water tastes like wine
We can jump in the water, stay drunk all the time
I'm gonna leave this city, got to get away
I'm gonna leave this city, got to get away
All this fussing and fighting, man
you know I sure can't stay
Now baby, pack your leaving trunk
you know we've got to leave today
Just exactly where we're going I cannot say
but We might even leave the USA
'Cause there's a brand new game that I want to play
No use of you running, or screaming and crying
'Cause you've got a home as long as I've got mine...

Why do I have a clip of "Won't back down" by Tom Petty with Ringo Starr on drums?

WTL,Maybe I should have said Original 5 ? Richard Starkey(Ringo Starr) was a guest on the album ? The other people mentioned on the albums were Jeff Keltner (drums)Jim Horn (sax),Ray Cooper(percussion) Remember Roy Orbison died in 1989, The 1st album (volume 1)was 1988, and the 2nd album (volume 3) album was in 1990.P N J

Thats the second one.... Yeah, Blink 182 isn't my favorite, but they're not bad. THe Fray used to be sweet, but then they went corporate. Oh well, that's the way iit goes...

We chase misprinted lies
we face the path of time
and yet i fight
and yet i fight
this battle all alone
no one to cry to
no place to call home

My gift of self is raped
my privacy is raked
and yet i find
and yet i find
repeating in my head
if i can't be my own
i'd feel better dead

JB, I love everything I know that they did, which is mainly the singles. I've never bought an AIC album, although I rarely buy albums...when I do I guess I'll get dirt. But I'm real big on all those early 90s seattle bands like AIC, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Screaming Trees, Mudhoney ect, ect.

let's gather 'round the carcass of the old deflated beast
we have seen it through the accolades and rested in its lea
syntactic is our elegance, incisive our disease
the swath endogenous of ourselves will be our quandary
we've nestled in its hollow and we've suckle at its breast
grandiloquent in attitude, impassioned yet inept
frivolous gavel our design, ludicrous our threat
excursive expeditions leave us holding less and less, what does it mean?
when we tell ourselves, it's only for a while we have been deceived
and it's only for a moment that the treasures of our day make life easier to complicate, the treasure thrown away
I'm so tired of all the f#cked up minds of all the terrorist religions
and their bullsh!t lines
of all the hand-me-downs from all industrial crimes
and the weeping mothers and those who
are led some blind, from the plastic protests and the hands of time
and the pursuit of mirth and all hating kind

My pain is self-chosen
At least I believe it to be
I could either drown
Or pull off my skin and swim to shore
Now I can grow a beautiful
Shell for all to see
The ***** ** ***** pulls down
The only direction we flow is down
Down, oh down

One of my favorite cds.
