Quantum
Hey guys, Im new to the forum, and relatively new to freshwater fishing in general. I grew up fishing saltwater and the flats around Tampa Bay, but in the past few months I have gotten pretty decent at bassing. I give a lot of credit to my reel, a Quantum. I have owned plenty of reels, and many that cost in excess of $100, but this has to be the best reel I have ever used. Does anyone else use Quantum products, and has anyone else been as happy with their performance? My pole is very light weight, and I'm about to purchase a little bit heavier of a set up, should I stick with Quantum, or are there better choices in the same price range? Thanks for the help.

Quantum
I like quantum rods and reels but I have found a reel that I like better. I like to use a shimano curado. The cost isnt that much it is around 120 and well worth it. It is the smoothers reel i have ever owned and has lasted me for a while. I would stick to what you feel most confident with but the curados r very nice.
