Default Bandit lures

Ya know, someone jogged my memory today talking about those bandit crankbaits...I had forgotten all about them and wondered if anyone out there fishes them? I always thought they designed them like a bomber but had unique features..

As I've stated elsewhere I'm terrible at throwing crankbaits, so my endorsement should mean little, but I did pull a Bandit 200 crankbait off of some laydowns a month or two ago, tried it out, and I managed 2 or 3 spots on it. For me on a crankbait that is worth taking note of.

If ya have troubles with the crankbaits, you should start over with just a afew ratLtraps, I think they are consistent in catching from spring to fall, and easy to throw out and let sink to the desired level, then just simply reel it in 5 or 6 times, pause to let it sink, and begin the reel process up again,

the hit on the fall a lot of times, plus this bait goes over the top of weedbeds
and sparks a bite

IMO the best crankbait there is. I use 200 series all the time.

Bandits, Strike Kings and Bombers are about all I use. Had success on all of them, but like you I don't throw them as often as I ought to.

I only use shallow runners, because I fish ponds mostly. I like the Mann's Baby 1- or a chrome blue ratletrap.

I used to throw rat-l-traps a lot when I was first starting out, but I got away from them. Will be hitting the flats later today and I might pull one out though.

When the crankbait bite is on and the fish are agressive, its the fastest way to catch fish, unless your fish lillys or matted weeds on the surface, but sometimes burning a rattletrap along the weed line can get them to strike. Soft plastics catch more fish overall IMO though.

I Love Bandits They Have Always Been Good Producers For Me. A Bandit Crankbait Was The First Crankbait I Caught A Fish On. I Take Them To A Large River And Have A Lot Of Success With Them On A River.

Same here. I like the 100 series as well though. JB they are really good cranks. Price is fairly reasonable too. And you don't need to change the hooks.
