Wow! Huge fish, where do you live? I caught my personal best (12lbs) on a texas rigged lizard.

Did you weigh it?

I don't want to be THAT guy, cause its a hell of a bass. Looks closer to 7 or 8 from the pic, but I admit looking at pics on the internet is a very inexact way of judging the size of a fish. From my experience however, people are always looking to downgrade fish they look at online, so it is better just to lowball things. Also, holding a fish close to the camera can really set off a fish, but its also a good way of inviting scrutiny. I can make a fat 3 pounder look like a 6 easy with a few simple tricks. I'm trying to be very careful here, not to say I doubt what you are telling me, but just that unless you measured it or had a scale say 10 or an old timer with a cane and straw hat who looked like he knows walk up and say the word "ten", it might not be a 10.

Not that it matters, just getting the ball rolling on the inevitable fish picture accreditation discussion which I felt was imminent. Its as natural as having 20 last casts.

My friend weighed it on his electric scale at 9 and a half pounds. His scale could be a few pounds off or something though.

LOL you sound just like " that guy " But I know what you mean. If you look at my pic in this forum you may night believe my catch was 7 lbs bc the pic made it look so much smaller. His looks pretty close to 10 imo. Nice catch either way

Right now I live in Central-ish wisconsin, I moved up here from South Florida though where the bass are a good bit bigger.
