Default Identify this crank for me please.....

I've caught alot of fish on this little crankbait this year, and it's the only one I've got, so I wanted to purchase some extras before I loose this one, but I have no idea who makes it.....There are no markings on it at all.....Its almost exactly the same size and shape as my DT4's but they are all clearly marked on the bill what they are, so I don't think thats what this is.....Any ideas?

Fisher,

It looks to me that this may have been something that came from jann's netcraft http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/crankbait-bodies/ I have purchased some of the blanks and they look very similar, the indentation on the side is what I immediately noticed, plus the bill is very similar to ones that jann's sells... I could be wrong tho..

I think I'm with MIbasser on this one. Check out color #53 on that page he linked to...I think that's the one.

Zooker would be proud of you guys!

That definitely is a Bandit 200 in Chartreuse Shad. Good color too.

I'm with everyone else on this one.

Zooker would also say to change out the rear treble hook with one with a longer shank.

Zooker always spoke highly of Bandit lures, and the way this ones caught fish for me this year, its a good possibility thats what it is....It sure looks like the one in the link MIbasser posted....even has the same crease down the lower sides that the Bandits in that picture have, so you guys are probably right......guess i'll be ordering some of those, since I've already checked locally and nobody carries Bandit lures around here....Thanks guys.

And yeah, I'd like to know which hook Zooker said change out....change out the front hook for a bigger hook or the rear hook with a longer shank hook?

Thank you woody, you are correct. I got the hooks mixed up, bigger over all hooks on the front, longer shanked hooks on the rear. Again i thank you. I love this site because of these types of posts and remarks. THIS is what makes you guys and gals my favorite folks. Now michael, go change BOTH sets of hooks. Lol.

No doubt about it it's a Bandit 200. Almost all crankbait companies can be distinguished by their eyes, not many companies use the same eyes on their baits. And the color is Chartruese Shad, their version of Sexy Shad.

Actually, for a while it was their closest color to sexy shad, but at the beginning of this year they brought out Sparkle Ghost, which is also a good color, but I think I have gotten more of the Chartreuse Shad.
