Default my first boat

My first boat is a 1979 Glastron, it has a 90 hp Evinrude ( 1989 ). I only payed $345 for the boat. then i called around and found the motor for $750, but it was on a runbout that had a hole in the bottom of the boat. The paint on the boat is alittle dull, I'm going to have too wet sand it .i put a new fishfinder on it , 3 new batterys , all new wires , two new pumps. It runs about 45mph on the water. So let me know if you think it was a good deal ?

It sounds like one to me, and I love running on older motors. I have an old evinrude too, and it works like a dream. Congrats.

I tell ya Glastron has made some fine boats. If it's stable then you've got a good boat. That engine is not that old and if it has compression then it should run and crank well. Take care of it, might be worth alot of money one day.
