I can't speak for the new style Rangers but I have had zero problems with mine.

Hey guys,

All the advice has been great.

The reason for limiting myself to Skeeter and Ranger is due to access to dealerships and qualified repair shops.

I am 50 miles (not interstate either) from the nearest and over 100 miles to anyother. The bright side is that I do have in-door plumbing (now)! I actually live on a lake, work from home and nothing is close.

There are two dealerships within the 100 mile range one has both Ranger and Skeeter. I bought my run about from them. Their service and sales is a known quanity. The other dealership I do not like very much and only has Triton.

Therefore I'm sticking with Ranger or Skeeter and I think either of these are good boats.

Hey everyone Merry Christmas!
