Both are very similiar in how you fish them, I think anglers throw the pig n jig in the super heavy cover, and sometimes the tube is better depending on thier mood.
I feel confident about my jig game, I need to use the tube more, which I have this summer, I think they can be rigged lighter, I know a hair 1/4 ounce jig works too for slow fall, I need to stock up on some bear hair now That I think about it lol..blue or black, or brown, great river bait with a small profile trailer, like a wittled down Uncle Josh pork |

Jigs Are Awesome. It Used To Be All I Used And Had A Lot Of Success. Still Do.
