Default Ideas wanted!

Ok i just made the rounds. It's 46degrees out expecting maybe 50.

Wind may be a factor?
Rivers open, slow flow, last three visits this winter nothing-not even a bite.
One pond has ice fishermen on (only like 6 in. ice (nuts). But I saw the one edge (kind of hilly and maybe a soft earth challenge but I think I can get there) that has open water along the edge. This edge has limited fishing access do to trees (short pole challenge) but drops steeply into like 15-20 ft. water with whole tree laydowns from shore going deep. Do well in spring and early summer. (brush to thick the rest of year)

Next pond has 1/4 of pond open water ( I think there's some sort of artificial airation or something) the rest Iced. Caught 3 bass here this winter.
I'm only planning an hour or maybe two outing. Going at noonish.
Plans:
I'm leaning towards last option.
Three poles. One jig rigged drop shot. One Rapla slash bait, (not Husky Jerk) and one lippless crank.
You know I'll have other stuff along but this is my start up.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?
I'm hoping this oppertunity presents itself again (I know it will between now and Spring) so all ideas are WELCOMED or else I'll ask it again next outing!

I'm reading this a day late but wondering how you did. Not sure what you mean by a "jig rigged drop shot". The only other lure I would have taken along is a chatterbait, which has been a good producer for me when water is extremely cold like that. Other than that, I'd probably taken exactly what you did.

Using jig for weight as opposed to actual weight. Legal here.
Got four. 16" biggest.
Thanks for asking!

Try using blade baits too, they can be killer when the water is really cold.
