pro-control for small boats
would like to know if they work very good as i've only got a small basstender boat and don't know any other way to use a foot control for the trolling motor.

If this is what you are referring to, then no - wouldn't waste your money. Unfortunately, the Basstender style boats (I've had one for 15+ years for small waters) are just about uncontrollable with a trolling motor. I've tried foot controls and hand controls (with an extension similar to the ProKon Troll) and have just settled on using a simple transom mount trolling motor with an anchor. These boats just do not steer. They are just too short. |
