My favorite is a "Zoomie", which is a Zoom Speed Worm in Watermelon/Red with the tail pinched off and t-rigged weightless on a 2/0 bent shaft worm hook.

Mac got me started on these with this thread.

And this thread of mine has more details and pictures in it.

Default NuJig

I use the 1/4 oz. and if I want more wieght I add a tungstun sliding bullet weight.
Can swim it, pitch it, drag it, punch it.
Great in trees, rocks, vegetation and it HOOKs fish without any fear of a spit out.

Frog for sure!

Some kind of texas creature bait would be a second for me though!

I could not answer this as I have too many depending on various situations. Over all I would go with a spinner bait though. Tandem Colorado/willow, 3/8th oz. Silver/gold combo with white/chartreuse skirt. But dang man, I love so many other baits too.

I can't pick but it's either of these two. The Horny Toad has caught a ton of fish and given me a lot of fun. The Red Eye Shad has caught most of my largest bass and I throw it all the time.

If I only had 1 I could throw, it would probably be a Bass Assassin Shad Assassin 5"

I've got plenty of sentimental favorites but my practical favorite is.............................whatever is fooling them at the moment

in my boat: I love running down a bank chucking a spinnerbait (or chatterbait occasionally), can do that all day long.

in my kayak: things are much slower paced and I'm much lower in the water sitting on it rather than standing on my boat deck. I like skipping plastics to trees, stumps, rocks, docks, etc. like a wacky rigged Senko or a beaver.

Those are great crank baits Dave! Have a couple myself and they do catch fish.
