4 acre pond help

hey i found this new pond around the way and i was talking to some of the locals 2day and they said there are huge bass trout and catfish in there but i never see any1 pull anything out any tips for bass!!!!

1.murky murky water alot of garbage
2.average depth 3 feet some spots like 6 feet
3.any ideas on what colors patterns to use
4.what should i use????

please help want to go tommorow my only day off!!!!

Maybe a chartruese (man, why can't I ever remember how to spell that?) or firetiger spinnerbait with tandem colorado blades. Just to avoid getting snags on the "garbage".

Bright colors man I fish a lil 2 acre pond and do well with a shallow fry bomber crank in silver with char/blue back.

limited visibilty fish will often feed by their lateral line system (what they use to feel the vibrations in the water around them), so topwaters would be good, plus post spawn is a great time for topwaters, in dingy water, i like using bright colored topwaters, topwaters are fun when a huge bass blows up on it, so yeah, I'd probably suggest a chartruse buzzbait.

You might try a weedless spoon. I have a couple that I really like for fishing in the "garbage". Not sure who makes them, but they are called Jawbreaker spoons. They have molded plastic weedguards and a rubber skirt trailer built in. I'd use a medium heavy to heavy action casting reel loaded with 50 pound braid line for heavy garbage.

I love these types of fishing holes...but they can be tricky to fish, the environment is pretty stable and the fish will react to change quickly. If you are fishing from shore be aware of your shadow as it will easily spook fish, same goes for the color of your clothing...some of you will laugh, but I've stood literally 10 ft away from someone dressed in light colors that don't absorb, but reflect light and get not so much as a bite and all the while I was catching fish continuosly in darker clothing and covering my shadow with the natural surroundings. If in a boat try not to disrupt the vegitation (if possible) and move slowly into your position. I had my best luck in a pond of similar size with a top water popper with about a foot of line tied onto the back with a trailing black/red floating fly that is typically used with a fly rod.
