Default Double bait rigs

Do any of you fish rigs with two baits? I mean artificials, not live bait. I've heard of people using jigs as the weights on c-rigs and on drop shots.

I have fished a double fluke rig a few times. It consists of two barrel swivels and two short leaders which allow the flukes to swim in tandem, sometimes side by side sometimes one appears to be chasing the other. It is a little cumbersome to cast but it's a blast to fish.

I have done the jig on the bottom of my drop shot for a couple of years now. I also do a double fluke rig.

I use the Donkey rig some (a version of the double fluke rig), and I also use a jig in place of a weight on my Carolina rig sometimes.

I believe it is called a river rig, it's best to have the two baits tied off at different lengths which helps reduce tangles. And yes it does work well, but I've found that it can be a pain to rig and cast.... however, last year I used it like a drop shot and used a weight just about the 3piece swivel and caught some great fish...the cool thing with this type of rig was the ability to give the fish two different presentations...I had a small jig tied on one line and worm on the other...the worm was a floater and had mono leader so it floated off the bottom a few feet...meanwhile I was draggin a jig...

I use a jig on my carolina rig sometimes but that's about it.

I've used a couple different double bait rigs.

I've tried the double fluke rig, but didn't catch anything (didn't catch anything on a single fluke that day either).

I've used hair jigs as weight on the DS in the spring.
