I would have to say the Gulp nightcrawler . Because when you use the right color it looks very realistic and it drives the bass crazy

Senkos of all sorts. Gulp's in watermelon/red flake is the best IMO.

I have been catching alot of bass on the Zoom Horny toad.

either buzzing it in open water or just inching it along on top of matted weeds

Shartruce ZOOM is my fav of all because I've caught bass and trout. I had my doubts about the trout but they knocked the crap out of it. No weight throw it over the flat rocks and drag it towards ya. They will snap it right up.

My favorite is the Zoom Trick Worm in white or black, followed by senkos, colors depending on what the water color is and time of day .

I have never really had a lot of faith in plastics, I know some of you are gawking and can't believe what I just said, but I have decided to give plastics more of a chance this year since I now have a complete arsenal after hitting the clearance sales at Wally World.

I have been having great success with the NetBait finesse worm, in junebug. A friend gave me one and all of a sudden I started catching bass. Went out an bought 2 packs of them after that, and now, it is my fav.

Also have started to use a lizard, and it has been working good too.

I have been a big fan of plastics for about 10 years now. I have used just about every brand you can find in stores. Once I found Gary Yamamoto's, I did not even consider another brand. The Senko's will consistantly produce. If the fish arent biting on Senko's.....they arent biting. Colors will vary based on the clarity of the water you are fishing. For years I have been hesitant to let my seceret out, but the jig is up and everyone knows about them now. Buy a pack of 5 inch watermelons and you will see what I am talking about.

I'd have to say a Senko type bait-Watermelon and Baby Bass/Pearl laminate Yum Dingers and Baby Bass/Pearl, Watermelon Chartreuse, and Green Pumpkin/Chartreuse swirl Tiki Sticks.

I also like a Sweet Beaver type bait on a C-rig.

My absolute number one go to plastic is a junebug babybrushhog. I don't go to the lake or river without a pack or two!!!

eric,
our week on lake logan last month that same brushhog was the only plastics I could get bass to hit...they would pass up a paca craw and next cast I'd throw the hoggie and BOOM a bass would take it in no time..
