nope, it will be just the same. injection plastics by nature (big companies) are harder than hand poured, which I do. You will notice a difference without a doubt. fish hold on longer, and they are just as durable. I rarely buy plastics anymore obviously because I pour my own, but If i buy stuff I dont pour, I buy hand poured, without a doubt.

Ya i have a sample pack from a handpoured company and i must say, there is a difference. The baits are softer and much more durable, plus you can buy handpoured baits in any size, shape color and scent.

Ryan,
This kit, what kinds of molds would you offer? I don't want to do much of anything, but for a few baits, tht'd be fun every now and again

ahhh, i would probably do most of the baits on my site, except the noodle (its my own) and the daddy long legs (also my own) and the uncle sinkos ,, since its 2 sided. i could put together a list, but it would include the following.
trick worm
7 inch curl tail worm
10 inch curl tail worm
aunt zippy
jig trailer
beaver
small reaper
4 inch brush hog
lil pedey
and some others i have laying around.

mmib, i just tried out my "The worm" In the pool to see how it works. I'll be using it tomorrow at a pond. Is the bait just supposed to corkscrew in the water? The action doesnt look too promising unless i give it small twitches.

I think that's the deal with those worms, he said you have to drag it super, super slow.

Hmm a video would be cool! Do those worms catch stuff like pike too? The pond im going to had a 42" pike caught out of it a while back so i'm probably going to try to catch a pike or two.

I have a Del-Mart kit and I only use the microwave. I have had no problems at all. Its such an easy process that I have even done it at work during the slow periods. The only mess I have encoutered if any, is the tiny bit of glitter that gathers around the container top. When I take of the top a little sprinkles to the floor. I am 100% happy with my kit. Your kits sound great too. And yeah, do it because you enjoy it at first. Doing it for profit would suck if you're really not into it like that. I do it in my spare time or if I think I need something for a specific body of water. I think I would hate it if I HAD to sit down and fill orders. Then it becomes work. Just my opinion.

Yep... its really pretty simple to do it. Its just costly. and sometimes if you are doing an intricate 1 sided pour it can be hard, as in , needs trimming after a pour... I do some bait stuff at work, just not pouring, since its smelly
