we don't seem to talk about them much on here and now i am in the market so i need some opinions. i have pretty much narrowed it down to these 2 choices. other than the color screen on the 510 what are the biggest differences and what would they mean to me, like the watts of power? i am wanting a locator that can be set up of dropshotting (so i can see me bait), also i want to be able to pick out baitfish and things like this. which would you reccomend and why?

1. the X135 http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...001000_200-1-1

2. the X510C http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...001000_200-1-1

The X135 is in my book one of the greatest that they have made for its values at an affordable price. I have put one of them on my christmas wish list. The new color units are great but the 2 you are looking at the 135 has more power which means more detail. The only color unit out there that I know is being used to actually see the bait fall through the water column is the higher priced 532 and above units. The 135 will do it. The monochrome units also work very well in ANY light conditions with minor screen adjustments. If it where me I would opt for the X135 and I would never look back.
