If you haven't heard Sam Rayburn

The Mcdonalds big bass splash took place from friday through sunday and if you haven't heard an 11 year old boy caught the winning fish. 11.57 pound bass just incredible. second place was an 11.52 but he was a little older than 11. Anyway everyone is pretty excited for the kid,

Yanking your chain, Scott ;D. There ain't a bass fisherman in Texas who doesn't know about Big Sam. I've never fished it but have heard some great stories with pictures to prove it about that lake.

Sam Rayburn is my home waters. I try to get out at least 2 or 3 times a week more when I get the chance. Big Sam is really kicking, producing alot of good fish with great numbers. any time your in the area holler and If I can I'll put you on em.

I'm not sure that Sam Rayburn is that much of a secret. Nor is bass fishing in Texas for that matter.

I would be the happiest kid if I got a brand new hummer and triton with a 225 merc when I was eleven. But then again he can't drive the car for another 5 years.

No one said Sam Rayburn was a secret or that bass fishing in Texas was unheard of I simply stated that a 11 year old kid caught an 11.57 pound bass in the recent big bass splash. He just so happens to be the youngest person ever to win a national bass tournament.

My bad, reading and comprehension are not my strong suit..........

That wasn't me in that pic, his name is Duke and he is a regular on Lake Austin. That was a MONSTER fish.

Thats still a big fish in that picture I plan on catching one like it this year. I caught my best bass a little over a month ago a 8.60 beauty.
