Question are there bass in the San Jacinto River ?

well my cousin and i are out here in Conroe, Tx and i live right near the san jacinto river. we were just wonderin if maybe we could hook a bass or two somewhere along it...please help!!

Go fish it and see. You might try Lake Conroe, but I have not fished that one in years since they put in all the grass carp.
