I have the Sexy Shad color in almost every model that Strike King has, it has just been an overall great color for me, and it has worked in every every color of water for me as well. Also, dont forget the Chartreuse Sexy, Chrome Sexy, and Sunrise Sexy Shad, along with the Sexy Sunfish.

WarEagle, I've seen those same colors at the Academy here, in their in-house line, called H2O Xpress. If they're out of the Strike Kings, look for those. I've heard nothing but good about the H2O line.

Norman also has a Sexy Shad color. Here's a DD22 Sexy Shad.

bandit originally came out with that color about five years ago..chartusus shad.. i actually asked robzilla to add a yellow stripe down the center line of a bait 3 YEARS ago...now since kvd won with a custom colored lilpless bait in this color every company makes a verison of this color.. basiclly any bait with a yellow stripe is called a "sexy" verison..

good color but its just like any good crank ive caught fish on them but have had days where other colors out perfom them. but its definately a good color and since it was a grand lake tourny that kvd won with that color, it is really popular in Oklahoma.

Well I think its just KVD and strike king marketing.
I had luck on any kind of white and blue and chrome and blue but who knows maybe that yellow will take it to the next level. Going to get my highlighter out. LOL

Okay by now you know I'm a crank guy and when I saw the sexy shad it reminded me of two bait colors that work very well for me. Bandits flaming grape and sun lavender by Norman, so yes the color sceem works and long before the term "sexy shad". Having to buy that exact one, as already noted, "marketing".

yeah some colors catch fishermen but you just have to have confidence in a bait.... yeah they sale like crazy because KVD did so good on them and then started saying the color and everbody went crazy.... he might even not be catching them on it but he did good advertsing..... thats why companies sponsors pros b/c reagular joes listen to them and think they can fish what they do..... not matter what the differences are b/w the lakes, temps, or cover

I'm sure it works but not everywhere. Like most people I will buy a lure if I think the fish will bite because its looks like something they eat every day.

Zooker - how long has Nutter shad been around?? I know LC had the Chart. Shad before Sexy shad came out because I have one I bought 3-4 years ago. The 4S in Sexy Shad does really well on the radioactive pond I fish.
