Default The Thickest Weeds

Wat Should I Do To Fish Thick Weeds? I Tried A C Rig And T Rig And The Weeds Kept Catching Onto The Lure.i Also Tried Fishing The Senko But It Also Caught The Weeds. Wat Should I Do ? The Weeds That Im Fishing Have Holes In Them That I Pitch Lure Into But Wat Do I Do If I Dont Get A Bite On The Initial Fall? If I Try Lift And Drop The Senko Or Yo Yo A Jig It Gets Weeds On It And Ruines The Action

Why did you capitalize the first letter in every word? That seems to be of no use.

Those really must be some badass weeds. Sometimes you really have to bury the hook into the body of the soft plastic.

how are you rigging it? like the first pic or the second?

i usually dont have any problems..around heavy weeds, i hook it the second way..on top of the weeds, i use a weedless frog like this

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...frog&noImage=0

the hooks are burried into the lure so it doesnt snag much..it might if it lands upside down..you might also wanna try a finnesse worm on a jig head with a weed guard and work the edges...good luck..hope this helps...

i like mine to go through...if you want it to do that and its not, use a bullet weight...choose the weight depending on amount of weeds

Well it sounds like hydrilla or milfoil. They are great weeds for bass, btw.

Sometimes you are gonna get weeds on your lure no matter what. Soft plastics texas rigged are one of the more weedless lures you can use, so theres not too much more that I can suggest.

Sometimes you have to adjust the way you fish or target anytype of cover..weeds included....so that you can effectivly fish without getting hung up on most casts. While many times it is best to flip and get down there in the weeds, if every time you bring up the lure it is covered in grass, you need to change tactics and not throw quite as far in the weeds. A senko is a good lure, but try a fluke, and fish it fast enough so it doesn't have a chance to sink down in there into the weeds so it gets hung up.

Fishing sometimes necessitates that the angler use common sense and logic to adjust to the conditions at hand, do the best you can. Thats all that we do.

Try a 3/4 or heavier jig n pig, and look for any hole that you can drop it through in the vegetation, it may be as small as a plate, but fish will key in on the sunlight, and stay in the dark to view baits.

BB-rig the bait so the eye of the hook is pulled into the plastic with no weight. You still may pick up a few weeds but it won't be bad. I used to fish a tank that was covered in the stuff we call snot moss. The only way to fish it was with a weedles, weightless bait like a Tiki Stick or Zoom Super Fluke.
