Getting nervous
Well Guys after many days of thinking I am pulling the trigger. Found a 94 Nitro with a 75 Johnson. Buddy of mine bought it has been garage kept all its life comes with Electronics and foot controlled trolling motor. On a scale of 1-10 I rate it a 8. 2500.00 Cash and its mine. I have the Franklins and gonna go tonight or Saturday and claim it. Man I am nervous. Never had a true Bass boat always fished out of a walkthru ski boat. I do however have a 23 Foot Trophy walkaround that I own with my Brother. But this one is gonna be all MINE......

Congrats pal. You'll be ok, just remember that the monkey brothers got ya now. Bait monkey and his brother the boat monkey. After that comes the RV GORILLA.

*The day you buy it. *The day you sell it. My grandfather always said this, and I never understood it. I'm a fishing junkie too, and i still love mine. Congrats, and enjoy it!!!!! Fish-On |

So two more days I dont think I can make it, but if all goes well can still have it out on first run sunday after church.

Good Luck, Jerry. Before you plunk down the cash be sure and walk around, crawl under it, open the lids, especially in the gas/battery compartment. Look for dry rotted fuel hoses and corroded cables and things like that. Take off the motor cowl and look for burnt or cracked wires and dry rotted fuel hoses there as well. If he has muffs (or you can buy you a pair at Walmart), pull it out in the driveway and hook a hose up to it and fire it up and let it run for about 5-10 minutes and see if the thermostats open up and the water starts pumping out the jet hole. If you do all that and your stomach isn't tied in knots then chances are you got a good deal.
If any of that stuff ain't in pretty good shape that old adage about BOAT (Break Out Another Thousand) becomes all too real right after you apply for a new title.

Well it is MINE.... I went and picked it up last night. I pulled in the driveway to get it and thought he had his new boat out but it was the Nitro. I mean it guys it looks like a 2003 model. No dock rash on side, Transom is hard as a rock, Motor under cowling looks like new. He had local marina install new Carb, new Oiler, and upsized the wireing to upgrade the trolling motor. I can't believe the overall shape it is in. I wish I could upload pictures to show you guys.
