7' mh bionic blade it is long enough to get a strong hook set and sensitive enough to feel those soft bites.

6'6" or 7' MH extreme or bionic blade are good rods for the C-Rig.

Talking

I feel good fishing a c-rig with 7'mh aswell.

And I broke a Shimano Crucial too!
but it was due to slamming it in a door, not setting the hook.

poor engineering IMHO

I use 7'6 heavy action Pro Qualifier XPS. Cast way out. Same rod can be used for flipping and frogging and C-rig. Like 3 in 1 rod.

When I do C-rig, I use a 7 ft MH Dicks house rod: Field & Stream IM7 blank.
