My turn to get a new toy.
Before Lake was born I was really big into bow hunting, probably more so than I was fishing even. I took a little time off from it when he was born and am just now getting bit by the bug again. I poured some gas on the bowhunting fire by buying me a new bow. I bought a Bowtech Experience the other day and have since been working on getting her shooting some tight groups. I've got her dialed in pretty good but I still want to up the poundage a little bit. Right now it's shooting 306FPS with a 65lb draw, I can't wait to see how hard she shoots when I bump it up to 70lbs!

That looks complicated.
And if Indians would have had a bow like that, there would have been no cowboys. Archery is beyond me any longer with a separated shoulder that prohibits me from drawing one. But I bow hunted back in the day when the recurve was king. I don't know a lot about the new bows, but I'm sure you'll get years of fun and satisfaction out of shooting it. |

I don't bow hunt but I know that is an awesome bow! That thing should be a pleasure to shoot and hunt with.

That looks wicked! It would be fun to watch a posted video of you shooting with it. How heavy is it? Never shot a bow like that but would like to. My shoulders are bad now too though, so that's a pipe dream.

It weighs 4.2lbs bare bow. Of course sights, quiver, arrow rest, and stabilizer add some weight, but it isn't too heavy.

Cool Bow. Don't want to steal your spotlight but my compound was stolen. I still have my 65# Grizzly recurve. I quit bow hunting when I fell out of a tree. Good luck and have fun.
