Default Fishing in Arizona

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with fishing Lake Roosevelt out here in Arizona. I am new to bass fishing only been a few times in my life but want to start getting serious about it. Can anyone give me some tips on fishing mornings and night in a huge lake in a hot climate from the shore? How should I pick my spots to fish what are some of the best baits or lures size and color that I should start with and any other useful info would be great!

Welcome to the board buddy. I have in laws that live in globe arizonza. When fishing that type of water its best IMHO to use worms and small jigs with 6-10 lb test line and always throw around the basketball size rocks.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any particular colors that seem to work best at night and in the morning?

Laser- I've been through globe before. Didn't like it much. It gets real pretty once you get a bit further north though.

Yea I was basically the same way. The farther north the better country. As far as colors jcavin in the clearer waters that you are talking bout you would be better off staying with the green pumkins, the natural colors. They produce better in those situations IMHO.
